ACCC Report: Issues around the sale of hearing aids: Consumer and clinician perspectives

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) was alerted to potential consumer protection issues in the hearing aid industry through ABC RN’s Background Briefing program, Have I got a hearing aid for you.

To better understand the issues, the ACCC conducted enquiries with consumers and industry participants.

Att: S.A. members who provide early childhood supports

Early Childhood Intervention Australia (ECIA) and the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) have engaged Health Outcomes International (HOI) in a service mapping project to identify, scope and map existing and potential early childhood intervention services available to work with children with developmental delay and/or disability and their families and carers in South Australia following full NDIS transition.

Audiology Australia was invited to present at the Hearing on the 20 Feb 2017 by the Parliament's Joint Standing Committee on the NDIS regarding the Provision of Hearing Services under the NDIS.
