Advocating for our profession  

There is strength in numbers and you as a member play a central role in our advocacy activities. We could not achieve the influence and recognition we have without your expertise, skills and dedication. 

We work hard to ensure that your expertise is valued and that all Australians have access to high quality hearing and balance healthcare.

We are a strong and influential advocate to government. We make sure you have a voice at the table when reforms, funding and access to healthcare will affect you. 

As a member of our Audiology community, you are well-placed to influence change both locally and nationally. You can contribute to our advocacy efforts by:

 
• Help draft submissions and public statements
• Contributing your knowledge, experience and skills to our consultations and activities
• Represent us on external committees
• Help us build relationships with other professional and consumer organisations and government departments
