Victorian audiologists sought for discussion on Autism workforce capability framework
Nous Group (Nous) has been engaged by the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services to develop a capability framework to help community workforces more positively engage with people with autism. This framework aims to assist workforces such as healthcare providers and community support staff to better conduct their work.
As part of this process, Nous is consulting with allied health and other professionals to gain an understanding of the way they interact with people with autism and how interactions could be improved. The framework will be a platform to build autism understanding and core skills and is not intended to be a resource for clinical assessment or diagnosis.
Nous is interested in speaking to audiology clinicians based in Victoria who have experience and expertise in working with people with autism. It is expected that this discussion will take about an hour and would involve answering a list of discussion questions. If you are interested in participating, please contact AudA’s Research and Policy Manager – firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 17 May.
