Audiology Australia (AudA) has today launched a new ‘Relief Posting’ job advertisement option for organisations advertising a single temporary, locum or short-term position (6 months or less), or a single position in a regional or remote location.
Relief Postings will be advertised for up to 14 days on Audiology Australia’s Career Connect job portal and promoted in one issue of its popular Career Connect e-newsletter.
The shorter advertising window follows feedback from Audiology Australia members and external advertisers who expressed interest in a short advertising window for temporary, locum or short-term postings.
Organisations advertising an audiologist position of any contract length, in a regional or remote location that is classified as being in categories MM 2 to MM 7 of the Modified Monash (MM) Model, can also take advantage of the new option.
The Relief Posting option costs $660, but can be reduced to $429 for approved small businesses, non-profits and charities who meet the maximum 35% discount.
To find out if you are eligible for the discount, please refer to the Audiology Australia discount guidelines and send Audiology Australia an application form to confirm whether their organisation is eligible.
Updates to pricing for existing options
Other changes to Career Connect this new financial year include a reduction in the job portal posting period from 30 to 28 days for classic and premium postings to better reflect the Career Connect e-newsletter’s fortnightly cycle, as well as price increases for the Classic Posting (now $895) and the Premium Posting (now $1190).
The price adjustments to these options were made in line with current market conditions and reflect Audiology Australia’s first Career Connect price increase in three years. Discounts for small businesses, non-profits and charities are also available for these options.
