The Sound Exchange ’26: Choose your Attendance Options

Jan 14, 2026

Planning your professional development for the 2026-27 CPD Cycle? The Sound Exchange ’26 offers several options designed to fit your learning needs, schedule and CPD goals.

Taking place 11-13 May 2026 at Accor Stadium in Sydney, The Sound Exchange ‘26 is an immersive educational experience for audiology and hearing health professionals, combining depth, practicality and choice.

How it works:

Option 1: Pre-Conference Workshops + Masterclass Stream (recommended) 11-13 May 2026

The Sound Exchange ’26 is designed to be immersive and connected. In this option, you’ll attend one Masterclass stream and remain with that stream across two days, allowing you to progressively build your knowledge. This format supports you to apply what you’ve learned in real-time under dedicated supervision and encourages you to engage more deeply with presenters and peers throughout the program.

By combining a pre-conference workshop with the two-day Masterclass stream, you’ll create the most comprehensive way to experience The Sound Exchange ’26 – across three days.

What’s included:

  • Welcome Reception and access to the Exchange Hub exhibition
  • Three full days of immersive, interactive learning
  • One selected Masterclass stream
  • Practical, skills-focused sessions led by experts
  • Networking with colleagues from across the profession
  • Catering included: morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
  • Access to additional online content (only available with Masterclass stream registrations)

CPD points:
By combining a pre-conference workshop, a two-day Masterclass stream and additional online learning, you could earn up to 20 CPD points through The Sound Exchange ’26 (the entirety of your 2026-27 CPD Cycle requirements).

This option is recommended for attendees looking to maximise both CPD points and learning outcomes across a primary and a secondary subject matter.

Option 2: Masterclass Stream only 12-13 May 2026

If you’re focused on the core conference experience, you can attend the two-day Masterclass program without a pre-conference workshop.

You’ll choose one Masterclass stream and stay with it across both days, allowing for deeper engagement and applied learning.

What’s included:

  • Welcome Reception and access to the Exchange Hub exhibition
  • Two full days of immersive, interactive learning
  • One selected Masterclass stream
  • Practical, skills-focused sessions led by experts
  • Networking with colleagues from across the profession
  • Catering included: morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
  • Access to additional online content (only available with Masterclass stream registrations)

CPD points:
A total of 17 CPD points is available for masterclass registration:
Masterclass: 12 points (Category 1.1 & 1.4) & Online content: 5 points (Category 1.2)

This option is recommended for attendees looking to maximise learning outcomes across a single subject matter.

Option 3: Pre-Conference Workshops only 11 May 2026

This option is ideal if you’re looking for a short, targeted learning experience or are unable to attend the main conference.

Pre-conference workshops are designed as deep dives into specific clinical or professional topics, delivered in smaller group settings to maximise hands-on learning and discussion.

What’s included:

  • Explore specialised topics in greater depth across 3 hours
  • Learn in a focused, interactive environment
  • Join us for afternoon tea

CPD points:
The pre-conference workshop provides 3 CPD points (Category 1.4).

Please note: This option does not include access to Masterclass streams or online content.
